I’m Catherine Fitzgerald, co-founder of Oak Innovation.
My journey began more than 30 years ago with a simple idea: trainers shouldn’t have to spend countless hours creating every course from scratch.
That idea grew into Oak Innovation — a library of practical, customizable courses built for trainers, consultants, HR teams, and learning professionals to customize and deliver.
My goal is simple: make course creation easier, so you can spend less time preparing and more time delivering great training.

Founded in 1995, Oak Innovation was created with a clear purpose: to make professional training easier to deliver.
Instead of starting with a blank page, trainers can start with a complete course — including editable PowerPoint slides, instructor guidance, participant workbooks, activities, and exercises — then customize the materials for their own audience, organization, or clients.
What began with that straightforward idea has grown into a library of more than 50 complete courses covering leadership, HR, customer service, management, productivity, and business performance.
